Jennifer Brunetti

President • Director • Screenwriter • Creative Since she began her career in film, events production, and composition, Jennifer Brunetti has won over thirty international film festival awards. Her areas of specialization in branding and marketing include Production, Events, Video-Film, Live-Online-Broadcasts, Live Performances, Film Scoring and Sound Engineering. Jennifer’s work has resulted in a wide-ranging and international client portfolio, which includes Fortune 500 corporations, NGOs, Nonprofits, and government agencies. She has worked with such luminaries as Presidents Bill Clinton and Paul Kagame. Jennifer Brunetti attended Berklee School of Music and currently lives in New York City with her daughter and her husband, a noted guitarist and record producer.

Roger Ross Williams

Director • Producer • Screenwriter By winning the 2010 Academy Award for Music by Prudence, Roger Ross Williams seemingly vaulted overnight into the top echelon of American documentary filmmakers. In fact, he has built a sterling reputation as a “triple-threat” filmmaker over the past seventeen years, specializing in not just documentary but also entertainment and news and current events. Roger’s films have attained a worldwide audience via their broadcasts on “gold-standard” news and entertainment networks, including the BBC, NBC News, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN. Roger Ross Williams currently lives in New York City, and travels worldwide for his various film projects.

David Hausen

Director • Producer Award-winning filmmaker David Hausen’s innovative film shorts ensured that he would become the “go-to” director for many of today’s most celebrated music videos. He has directed music videos and shorts for the “who’s-who” among popular music icons, such as Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, and Fava Flav. Recently, David completed a full-length documentary on the late and groundbreaking painter and urban muralist, Keith Haring. Additionally, he has built an expansive clientele of Fortune 500 corporations, network broadcast media, and Hollywood film studios. David graduated from SUNY Albany. He and his wife live in New York City and Paris, France.

Tom Clynes

Writer • Photojournalist Tom Clynes’ work has garnered an array of awards and honors. His essays feature regularly in Houghton-Mifflin Hartcourt’s prestigious “Best American” series of magazine-writing anthologies He has over the years amassed a portfolio of general interest and specialization publications, comprising articles, photo essays, books, keynote presentations, as well as innovative interactivesocial media. Tom’s publishers include such blue-chip and mass-circulation journals as National Geographic, Popular Science, Men’s Journal, and GQ. Tom Clynes graduated from the University of Michigan. A father of two boys, Tom makes his home base in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from where he travels worldwide on assignments.

Jim Krajewski  

Producer Production Manager  Jim brings over twenty-five years experience in all critical areas of production: cinematography, producing, directing, editing, and technical/media management. He has worked in genres ranging from TV commercials to corporate marketing and training to academic projects. His diverse clientele includes Fortune 500 companies, the world’s leading luxury automobile manufacturers, and major cultural and academic centers here and abroad. Jim Krajewski graduated from the University of Michigan, majoring in Speech Communication, and Theater. Dedicated to a lifetime of learning, he has participated in workshops in laser holography, interactive media, HD production, and cinematography with the late, great, Laszlo Kovacs 

Monty Mason

Writer-Editor • Communications Monty has played leading roles in a number of award-winning projects, such as Witness to History, the groundbreaking textbook on the Holocaust. His Clientele includes Fortune 500 corporations, non profits and major cultural- academic centers. Monty Mason graduated from Columbia University, Phi Beta Kappa, taking dual degrees with numerous honors in French as well as European and African History. A musician as well as a writer-editor, Monty lives with his family in Harlem, New York City.

David Etkin

Online Editor David Etkin grew up without a television in the house. Out of pity, perhaps, his mother took him to the movies every week. On his 16th birthday his grandfather gifted him with his old Nikon F series camera. At 26 he directed his first series of shorts on 16mm b&w reversal and 35mm color film stocks, and began editing on a Steenbeck flatbed. At 27 he embraced the digital revolution, learned to edit with AVID, and embraced video as a medium, with the occasional foray into pinhole film photography or tender moments of nostalgia with that old Nikon F series camera. Motion graphics and fatherhood have changed his life profoundly in recent years, for different reasons. He lives in New York City. If everything goes according to plan, he will eventually die there. David has been collaborating with Jennifer and the team for over 10 years on projects ranging from Volvo andMercedes-Benz branding videos and spots to profiles of personalities such as Ringo Starr, Mick Rock and Romero Britto and most everything in between.

David Carlson

Production Coordinator • Operations Dave Carlson, a native of Maryland, now working in New York City. After graduating with honors from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Logistics and International business, Dave traveled around the world as a filmmaker, writer, and musician, documenting the differences and similarities of different cultures and races for major distributors of film and reality television programs.  Dave has managed music releases for Universal with such international artists as Lamont Fleming, Timmy Allen, Pharrell Williams, Mary J Blige, Common, Jeff Beck, Khaled, Rachid Taha, Common, Mary J Blige, Modern English and others.

Garrett Kafchinski

Editor • Videographer Garrett Kafchinski is a born filmmaker, and brings a multitude of talents and hands-on work ethic to Umbrella Media.His fascination with technology has enabled him to adapt to the ever-evolving digital landscape in order to create the most efficient workflows for every project. He has worked with clientele in both CA and NY including Google, Lenovo, Metallica, and Slash. Garrett graduated Ithaca College with a degree in Cinema and Photography, and a minor in Business.

Tate Phillip

Assistant Tate Phillip is an assistant for Umbrella Media LLC, New York. She is knowledgeable in social media, website design, communication, and film. She has experience in promoting such as the artist, Ted Mason, and the original documentary, Girl on Girl. Tate has worked at many companies such as Jane Street, Surreel Films, Mi5 Recordings, Original Media LLC, and Google. She is knowledgeable in all parts of film pre-production, production, and post-production.
